Last night Lloyd, Karine, Operations Manager Chretien, and Head Chef Tanja attended the Eat Out Awards 2011, and what a glittering event it was. Food and atmosphere aside, the highlight of the evening for our team had to be the moment when Makaron was presented with the Boschendal Style Award! This honour is awarded to one restaurant out of a possible five finalists, which are chosen at great length from a list of twenty nominees. It's official - Makaron is the fairest of them all! And of course, congratulations to the other winners, with

We are excited to announce our first ever Craft Beer Dinner.

Paired with Boston Breweries Craft Beers, a specially designed four course tasting menu will be offered exclusively for the night of Thursday 1 December, and for those who truly wish to indulge, we are also offering an accomodation package for one night only.

Dinner is priced at R295 per person, inclusive of pairing.
