It is that time of the year in South Africa where buds are coming out, leaves are sprouting on trees, in other words spring is around the corner. With that, it is also time to plant our roses.
Last year's selection of roses that we planted just before our opening as well as the ones we manage to rescue from the ruthless treatment of builders and contruction, was just enough to cope with our requirements for rooms & public area bouquets.
This year we have decided to plant 80 more rose bushes, 10 of them miniature pinks to brighten our entrance area and 70 of them hybrid tea with such amazing names as "Double Delight", "Callas", "Spiced Coffee", "Madiba" and much more.
Our devoted gardener, Tyotyo, proudly looks after these newly planted roses and in a month time we should be able to start cutting again for our guest's delight as our bouquets throughout the house are strictly from our own garden.
